  25.    Licensing this type of software could become rather complex, if we asked
  26.    you to count the number of fonts you will create, and the number of
  27.    printers you would use them on, and the number of users who might be using
  28.    them.  Instead, we have simplified licensing in the following way.

  30.    Licenses are granted based on whether you download your PCX2FNT-made fonts
  31.    to single or to multiple printers, and whether the fonts contain single
  32.    or multiple images.

  34.    A company must purchase a separate license for each location (building)
  35.    that uses PCX2FNT or fonts created by it.  Please call for a quote when
  36.    licensing this software for use at more than one location.
  37.  
  38.    So, for each location purchasing PCX2FNT, you must simply determine if the
  39.    font(s) you create need to have more than one image, and whether you need
  40.    to use the font(s) with more than one printer.  Here are the four options.

  46.    Option D.  Multiple             Multiple           $ 99.95

  48.    The software for Options C and D allows for multiple images per font, 
  49.    whereas the software for Options A and B allows one image per font.  Those
  50.    users who need only one image in a font should order Option A or B.
  51.  
  52.    You may upgrade from option A to option B, C, or D.  You may also upgrade
  53.    from options B or C to D.  The cost of upgrading is simply the price
  54.    difference plus a $5.00 handling fee.

  56.    Distributing, repackaging, or reselling of soft fonts created by PCX2FNT
  57.    is not allowed under the terms of this license.

  59.    If you would like to distribute fonts created by this software, you can
  60.    do so in either of two ways (after notifying TaxWare of your intentions):
  61.  
  62.       1) register PCX2FNT Option D; you must include the complete shareware
  63.       version of PCX2FNT with the fonts you distribute.
  64.                               - OR -
  65.       2) register PCX2FNT Option D and pay a one time distribution license fee;
  66.       you will not be required to distribute any TaxWare software with the
  67.       fonts you distribute; you may include the DOWNLOAD and UNLOAD utilities
  68.       with your fonts.  Call or write TaxWare for a quote on the distribution
  69.       license fee.
